{"id":446537,"date":"2025-12-14T13:31:51","date_gmt":"2025-12-14T13:31:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/446537\/"},"modified":"2025-12-14T13:31:51","modified_gmt":"2025-12-14T13:31:51","slug":"pending-sales-see-increase-year-over-year-in-greater-houston-area","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/446537\/","title":{"rendered":"Pending sales see increase year over year in Greater Houston area"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\tPending single-family sales in the Greater Houston area rose 7.2% year over year in November, according to the Houston Association of Realtors\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.har.com\/content\/department\/newsroom?pid=2210\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">November 2025 Housing Market Update<\/a> released Dec. 10.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, single-family home sales decreased year over year in November from 6,499 to 6,347, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What else?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In terms of home prices, the median home price decreased 1.5% to $325,000, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, single-family home sales year over year for homes priced:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$1-$99,999 decreased 2.2%<\/li>\n<li>$100,000-$149,999 increased 10.6%<\/li>\n<li>$150,000-$249,999 increased 3.6%<\/li>\n<li>$250,000-$499,999 decreased 6.4%<\/li>\n<li>$500,000-$999,999 decreased 7.3%<\/li>\n<li>$1 million and above increased 23.4%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Quote of note<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHouston\u2019s housing market is setting into a balanced pace,\u201d HAR Chair Shae Cottar with LPT Realty said via news release. \u201cBuyers now have more time, more options and a little more breathing room to negotiate.
