Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., is continuing her media tour with a return to \u201cThe View.\u201d<\/p>\n

The ABC daytime talk show announced Friday that Greene is scheduled to appear Jan. 7, just two days after Greene leaves Congress.<\/p>\n

Greene, who went from being a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump to being one of his most outspoken critics, appeared on \u201cThe View\u201d last month<\/a>, and the hosts had a friendly exchange with the outgoing lawmaker.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to say that I think that all of us here are doing a great job of exchanging our ideas and things that we believe in, and we\u2019re doing it in a very professional and kind way and, in my opinion, I think we need more of that in America. I really do,\u201d Greene said, complimenting the hosts.<\/p>\n

Liberal co-host Joy Behar was so impressed by Greene\u2019s mounting criticisms of Trump she suggested the lawmaker switch parties.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe you should become a Democrat, Marjorie,\u201d Behar told her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not a Democrat,\u201d Greene responded. \u201cI think both parties have failed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last week, Greene made a second appearance on \u201c60 Minutes,<\/a>\u201d her first interview since she announced her exit from Congress. Trump lashed out at CBS News and parent company Paramount for the interview.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy real problem with the show, however, wasn\u2019t the low IQ traitor [Greene], it was that the new ownership of 60 Minutes, Paramount, would allow a show like this to air. THEY ARE NO BETTER THAN THE OLD OWNERSHIP, who just paid me millions of Dollars for FAKE REPORTING about your favorite President, ME! Since they bought it, 60 Minutes has actually gotten WORSE!\u201d Trump wrote on Truth Social.<\/p>\n

Throughout the year, Greene generated headlines for her criticism of the Trump administration\u2019s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files, healthcare and foreign policy.<\/p>\n

There had been speculation that Greene\u2019s feud with Trump stems from reports that he had privately discouraged her from running for Senate in 2026 amid polling that suggested she\u2019d be defeated by Georgia\u2019s Democratic incumbent Sen. Jon Ossoff. Greene denies those claims.<\/p>\n

Greene cited her growing disillusionment with Washington politics while announcing her exit, blasting what she called a corrupt \u201cPolitical Industrial Complex\u201d that she said uses Americans as \u201cpawns in an endless game of division.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAmericans are used by the Political Industrial Complex of both political parties, election cycle after election cycle, in order to elect whichever side can convince Americans to hate the other side more,\u201d Greene wrote. \u201cAnd the results are always the same \u2014 nothing ever gets better for the common American man or woman.\u201d<\/p>\n

She made her announcement days after Trump withdrew his endorsement for her, calling Greene \u201cwacky\u201d and \u201ca ranting lunatic.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Rep.
