{"id":446868,"date":"2025-12-14T17:18:17","date_gmt":"2025-12-14T17:18:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/446868\/"},"modified":"2025-12-14T17:18:17","modified_gmt":"2025-12-14T17:18:17","slug":"servicenow-reportedly-in-talks-to-acquire-cybersecurity-startup-armis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/446868\/","title":{"rendered":"ServiceNow reportedly in talks to acquire cybersecurity startup Armis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Software company ServiceNow is in advanced talks to buy cybersecurity startup Armis, which was last <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/11\/05\/armis-raises-435-million-at-6point1-billion-valuation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">valued at $6.1 billion<\/a>, Bloomberg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2025-12-14\/servicenow-said-to-near-deal-to-buy-armis-for-up-to-7-billion?embedded-checkout=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The deal, which could reach $7 billion in value, would be ServiceNow&#8217;s largest acquisition, the outlet said, citing people familiar with the situation who asked not to be identified because the talks are private.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The acquisition could be announced as soon as this week, but could still fall apart, according to the report.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Armis and ServiceNow did not immediately return a CNBC request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Armis, which helps companies secure and manage internet-connected devices and protect them against cyber threats, raised $435 million in a funding round just over a month ago and told CNBC about its eventual plans for an IPO.<\/p>\n<p>Armis CEO Yevgeny Dibrov and CTO Nadir Izrael.<\/p>\n<p>Courtesy: Armis<\/p>\n<p>CEO and co-founder Yevgeny Dibrov said Armis was aiming for a public listing at the end of 2026 or early 2027, pending &#8220;market conditions.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Armis&#8217;s decision to be acquired rather than wait for a public listing is a common path for startups at the moment. The IPO markets remain choppy and many startups are choosing to remain private for longer instead of risking a muted debut on the public markets.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2016, Armis said in August it had surpassed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.armis.com\/newsroom\/press\/armis-surpasses-300m-arr-as-demand-for-exposure-management-security-soars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$300 million in annual recurring revenues<\/a>, a milestone it achieved less than a year after reaching <a href=\"https:\/\/www.armis.com\/newsroom\/press\/armis-surpasses-200m-arr-doubling-arr-in-less-than-18-months\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$200 million in ARR<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Its latest funding round was led by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/GS\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Goldman Sachs<\/a> Alternatives&#8217; growth equity fund, with participation from CapitalG, a venture arm of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/GOOGL\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alphabet<\/a>.
