Dakota Johnson<\/a>\u00a0cha cha\u2019d real smooth onto the\u00a0“Saturday Night Live”\u00a0stage.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0“Materialists”\u00a0actress made a surprise appearance in the Dec. 13 episode of\u00a0“SNL” \u2014 hosted by\u00a0Josh O\u2019Connor \u2014 during\u00a0Lily Allen<\/a>\u2019s musical guest performance, stepping out as the mistress in Lily\u2019s hit song, \u201cMadeline.\u201d<\/p>\n

Throughout the performance, Johnson, 36, could be seen lounging on a bed hidden behind translucent curtains while Lily sang the lyrics to the track, which tells the story of a woman confronting her husband\u2019s mistress, named Madeline. But her identity was concealed until the end of the performance when Johnson stepped up behind Allen, 40, to place a tender kiss on her cheek.<\/p>\n

Throughout the performance, Johnson chimed in by speaking the lines of the fictional woman’s text messages.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey, he is telling you the truth,\u201d she recited as Madeline. \u201cOur relationship has only ever been about sex. I can promise you that this is not an emotional connection. We don\u2019t speak outside the time we spend together. And whenever he talks about you, it\u2019s with the utmost respect.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

While Allen \u2014 who ended her 4-year marriage with\u00a0David Harbour\u00a0in 2024 \u2014 repeatedly expressed her internal battle of whether she could trust Madeline’s word, the fictional character ultimately seemed to prove herself as a girls\u2019 girl.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hate that you\u2019re in so much pain right now,\u201d Johnson’s Madeline added. \u201cI really don\u2019t wanna be the cause of any upset. He told me that you were aware this was going on and that he had your full consent. If he\u2019s lying about that, then please let me know. Because I have my own feelings about dishonesty. Lies are not something that I wanna get caught up in.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cYou can reach out to me any time, by the way. If you need any more details or you just need to vent or anything. Love and light, Madeline.\u201d<\/p>\n

For her surprise cameo, Johnson wore a lace little black dress paired with a sheer bedazzled robe. To top off the look, the\u00a0“Fifty Shades” alum wore a green statement necklace and rocked her signature bangs.<\/p>\n

While\u00a0Dakota is no stranger to risqu\u00e9 fashion<\/a>\u00a0looks, the\u00a0“Splitsville”\u00a0actress\u2019 love for daring style nearly caused her to flash the audience during a June 2025 appearance of\u00a0“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

After arriving to set rocking a short black dress with a plunging neckline, she exclaimed, \u201cOh, God.\u201d<\/p>\n

Johnson added as she fixed her near-fashion emergency, \u201cThis was the wrong outfit.\u201d<\/p>\n

But Johnson’s fashion mishap didn’t phase the style pro one bit, quickly noting to the host, \u201cI\u2019ll keep my posture real good.\u201d<\/p>\n
