{"id":447882,"date":"2025-12-15T04:11:24","date_gmt":"2025-12-15T04:11:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/447882\/"},"modified":"2025-12-15T04:11:24","modified_gmt":"2025-12-15T04:11:24","slug":"1-dead-another-driver-injured-after-wrong-way-crash-in-northeast-san-antonio-police-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/447882\/","title":{"rendered":"1 dead, another driver injured after wrong-way crash in northeast San Antonio, police say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAPD said the wrong-way driver was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>SAN ANTONIO \u2014 A wrong-way crash on the northeast side early Saturday left one driver dead and another hospitalized, according to the San Antonio Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>Officers were dispatched around 2:19 a.m. to the 17000 block of Wurzbach Parkway after reports of a vehicle traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes, police said.<\/p>\n<p>As officers responded, the wrong-way driver collided with a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze driven by a 29-year-old man, police said. The wrong-way driver was pronounced dead at the scene. That driver has not yet been positively identified.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the Chevrolet Cruze was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation remains active and information is subject to change, police said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"SAPD said the wrong-way driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
