Reports started to come out Sunday that King was close to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bing.com\/ck\/a?!&amp;&amp;p=a5aff73f3a69485f6e8d67069cd8aa036130ea772b0b06264c6667e09d36ee61JmltdHM9MTc2NTY3MDQwMA&amp;ptn=3&amp;ver=2&amp;hsh=4&amp;fclid=2c357024-1fb8-6d37-2399-66151eef6cfc&amp;psq=michael+king+free+agent&amp;u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuYm9zdG9uZ2xvYmUuY29tLzIwMjUvMTIvMTQvc3BvcnRzL3JlZC1zb3gtbWljaGFlbC1raW5nLWZyZWUtYWdlbnQv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">making a decision on a team<\/a>, but that his suitors appeared to be the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox or Baltimore Orioles.
