{"id":449911,"date":"2025-12-16T01:48:18","date_gmt":"2025-12-16T01:48:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/449911\/"},"modified":"2025-12-16T01:48:18","modified_gmt":"2025-12-16T01:48:18","slug":"anti-capitalist-new-years-eve-la-terror-plot-suspects-lived-in-upscale-california-suburbs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/449911\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Anti-capitalist&#8217; New Year&#8217;s Eve LA terror plot suspects lived in upscale California suburbs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wealth for me \u2014 but not for thee!<\/p>\n<p>Despite their <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/12\/15\/us-news\/far-left-extremists-who-allegedly-planned-la-new-years-eve-terror-attack-also-wanted-to-take-out-ice-agents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">extremist anti-capitalist ideology<\/a>, the suspects who were arrested for <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/12\/15\/us-news\/fbi-stops-planned-new-years-eve-los-angeles-terror-attack-by-pro-palestinian-cell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">allegedly plotting a bombing campaign<\/a> in and around Los Angeles on New Year\u2019s Eve appear to hail from upscale areas.<\/p>\n<p>One of the suspects, Tina Lai, 41, lives in a 4-bedroom home in the affluent Los Angeles suburb of Arcadia, according to records. <\/p>\n<p>Arcadia has a median house price of almost $2 million, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtor.com\/local\/market\/california\/los-angeles-county\/arcadia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to Realtor.com<\/a> \u2014 which is 66% higher than the citywide median house price of $1,200,000.<\/p>\n<p>The home appears to be owned by a relative, ostensibly her father.<\/p>\n<p>Lai was listed as living in the 2,000-square-foot home about 13 miles from downtown Los Angeles as recently as this month.<\/p>\n<p>She was one of the four suspects the feds nabbed last Friday for allegedly hatching a plot for a coordinated bombing campaign in the Los Angeles area.<\/p>\n<p>Lai appears to live with her parents in a well-off neighborhood about 13 miles from downtown Los Angeles. AP<\/p>\n<p>The other three suspects were Audrey Ilene Carroll, 30;\u00a0Zachary Aaron Page, 32;\u00a0and Dante Gaffield, 24, all of whom were described as members of \u201cOrder of the Black Lotus,\u201d a splinter group from the America-hating extremist Turtle Island Liberation Front (TILF) organization.<\/p>\n<p>All of them have been charged\u00a0with conspiracy and possession of an unregistered destructive device, according to officials. A fifth suspect was also apprehended in New Orleans for an alleged separate plot.<\/p>\n<p>Page was living in a posh two-story house prior to being nabbed by the FBI.<\/p>\n<p>Page lived in a 3-bedroom home in Oak Park as recently as June, according to records. The peaceful, Southern California suburb in Ventura County \u2014 located about 40 miles west of LA \u2014 has a median home price of $920,000, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtor.com\/local\/market\/california\/ventura-county\/oak-park\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to Realtor.com<\/a>. Records indicate he isn\u2019t the owner.<\/p>\n<p>The median house price in Ventura County is $922,000, Realtor.com data shows.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside Carroll, he allegedly led the radical splinter group and helped set up its Signal chat, where they plotted what one document dubbed \u201cOPERATION MIDNIGHT SUN,\u201d according to officials who obtained the nefarious plans from a confidential FBI source. <\/p>\n<p>During a meeting on Dec. 7, Page indicated it was \u201c100,000[%]\u201d likely that the FBI was on their tail and urged members to be cautious. <\/p>\n<p>Carroll\u2019s active residence on file is an apartment complex in Los Angeles. Google Street View<\/p>\n<p>Carroll, meanwhile, lived in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment in the heart of Los Angeles, according to records. It is unclear whether she still lives in the complex, which boasts an outdoor BBQ area and a rooftop, according to Realtor.com.<\/p>\n<p>Two-bedroom apartments in the complex are currently being marketed for rents of more than $2,500 a month, according to Realtor.com.<\/p>\n<p>Carroll is accused of purchasing 13 PVC pipes and two five-pound bags of \u201cpotassium\u00a0nitrate on Amazon using a burner account\u201d for the explosives, according to the feds.<\/p>\n<p>Officials also claim that she and Page mused about future follow-up terrorism, such as attacks against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. <\/p>\n<p>Gaffield\u2019s most recent address appeared to be his father\u2019s. Google Street View<\/p>\n<p>Gaffield, the youngest of the alleged terror crew, had no active residency listed in his file. <\/p>\n<p>However, he once lived in a 3-bedroom home in the middle-class-to-wealthy LA neighborhood of Altadena with his family, according to records. <\/p>\n<p>The median home price in the suburb is $720,500, according to Realtor.com.<\/p>\n<p>TILF, the radical umbrella group linked to the Order of the Black Lotus, has railed against capitalism, America, law enforcement, and Israel. <\/p>\n<p>TILF has fundraised for its efforts to overthrow the US government.  US Justice Department<\/p>\n<p>The little-known extremist group has paraded around sick slogans such as \u201cDeath to America\u201d and insisted that the United States\u2019 mere existence is inherently violent. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen we say \u2018Death to America\u2019 and call for an end to colonization,\u00a0it doesn\u2019t mean the displacement or harm of non indigenous citizens,\u201d the radical group claimed in an<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo\/?fbid=122107270845053570&amp;set=a.122099761611053570&amp;__tn__=%2CO*F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00a0October Facebook post<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Wealth for me \u2014 but not for thee!
