A high-speed chase through four towns on Route 101 Friday evening ended with the arrest of a man wanted on a warrant for burglary in New York City, State Police said.<\/p>\n
Anthony G. Finelli, 44, of the Bronx, New York, was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from justice around 5:30 p.m. in Auburn, State Police said in a news release Sunday.<\/p>\n
Epping Police began pursuit of a 2017 Hyundai Elantra driven by Finelli on Route 101 west. State troopers took over the pursuit when Finelli crossed into Raymond. The chase continued through Candia and into Auburn at a high rate of speed, State Police said.<\/p>\n
Finelli drove over deflation devices deployed by Candia Police but continued to flee at slower speeds, State Police said. Auburn Police then deployed tire deflation devices near Exit 2 and the Hyundai\u2019s tires finally ran out of air as Finelli turned onto Hooksett Road and stopped in a parking lot of a local business.<\/p>\n
Troopers took Finelli into custody. In addition to being charged as a fugitive from justice, Finelli faces two counts of reckless conduct, one count of disobeying an officer and one count of obstructing government administration.<\/p>\n
