Brian Campbell made it two wins in the 2025 PGA Tour season by winning the John Deere Classic and USA\u2019s Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley has now been warned there\u2019s a big call to make.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Campbell held off Emiliano Grillo to win in a playoff at the John Deere <\/a>to make it two from two in playoff wins this season for him.<\/p>\n

The American is not one of the more stellar of star names on the PGA Tour<\/a> right now but in terms of efficiency and getting the job done, he\u2019s doing a lot better than most.<\/p>\n

As big names like Collin Morikawa<\/a> and Patrick Cantlay<\/a> struggle for form and wins and still get talked about for the Ryder Cup, Campbell is quietly going about his business.<\/p>\n

And now, after shooting further up the rankings, Keegan Bradley<\/a> has been warned that he has a decision to make on Campbell and others for his team.<\/p>\n

There really is so much to play for when it comes to Team USA and what might be their final squad selection for Bethpage Black.<\/p>\n

At the moment, there are just a few locked in players while the situation around Bradley himself remains open due to his own form.<\/p>\n

Now, though, Bradley has been told he\u2019s got another problem in the form for Brian Campbell.<\/p>\n

Taking to X to post his thoughts, golf journalist Jason Sobel has pointed out why Campbell might actually make the team over some big names.<\/p>\n

With two wins \u2014 two more than Xander, Cantlay and Morikawa combined \u2014 he might \u201cdeserve\u201d a spot considering how much value the captain places on winning, but a poor course fit for Bethpage.<\/p>\n

With Campbell having those two wins already, he might end up making the top six anyway, especially if he follows it up with more impressive finishes between now and September.<\/p>\n

Sobel went on to clarify his comments, and harked back to Bradley\u2019s own admissions about building a winning team.<\/p>\n

\u201cY\u2019all some bad readers today. No, I\u2019m not saying Brian Campbell should be on the team. Or that he will. But this sparks the annual debate between results and potential. Who \u201cdeserves\u201d it against who can help the team win. Especially since Keegan placed such emphasis on winning,\u201d Sobel added.<\/p>\n

Team USA could end up looking much different <\/p>\n

As it stands right now, there is only one American player who has qualified and that is world number one, Scottie Scheffler.<\/p>\n

From there, things seem more wide open although the current top five are all assumed lock ins regardless of their final position.<\/p>\n

Brian Campbell will now move up the rankings and as we can see with players like Russell Henley, it doesn\u2019t take too much to rocket up the board.<\/p>\n

For Keegan Bradley, there is definitely some hard thinking to be done ahead of what is going to be a career defining decision for him.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
