Today it announced a recall of all lots of that spray plus all lots of ClearLife nasal spray.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"YFEQMUFNSFAHVHDSFV4OEVHGAI\">Both were sold nationwide online and through retailers, according to an announcement with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/\">U.S. Food and Drug Administration<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"GGCELSGMSZCNVCFAIR5SN4NCEM\">The company\u2019s announcement says the sprays have microbial contamination, specifically Achromobacter bacteria at unsafe levels.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"PSXSZYFMCJBCTKAO26FG2SZQFA\">\u201cThere is a reasonable probability that adverse health consequences including life-threatening infections will occur with use of the product in the immunocompromised population,\u201d the company said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"P5WLUZSNXJADBDK2ATJM4CTUJ4\">Immunocompromised people are more vulnerable to infections. That includes people with weakened immune systems, the elderly and people on certain medications.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"FR7FA6HGSVFUJN67LV6F2RBWUE\">MediNatura said it has not received any reports of adverse events related to this recall to date.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"UQIUD545ZVFMFGCQRMBPH4QPYQ\">Both homeopathic nasal sprays are used to temporarily relieve nasal congestion, allergy symptoms, sneezing, runny nose and itching.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"article__unordered-list\">\n<li id=\"NDJ6BANHDJBGFDKEIQFLAJYXIU\">The NDC number for the recalled ReBoost nasal spray is 62795-4005-9 and the UPC is 787647 10186 3. The recall includes all lots and all expiration dates from December 2022 through December 2025.<\/li>\n<li id=\"WZTLAFJ4MFHGRBI2VY56BGDZU4\">The NDC number for the recalled ClearLife nasal spray is<b> <\/b>62795-4006-9 and the UPC is 787647 10188 7. The recall includes all lots and all expiration dates from December 2022 through December 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"E7K5SIYVIRDPHGQIQUVUEBMS5Q\">People should immediately stop using the nasal sprays.
