{"id":451968,"date":"2025-12-16T23:42:14","date_gmt":"2025-12-16T23:42:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/451968\/"},"modified":"2025-12-16T23:42:14","modified_gmt":"2025-12-16T23:42:14","slug":"coco-gauff-tops-forbes-highest-paid-female-athletes-list-for-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/451968\/","title":{"rendered":"Coco Gauff tops Forbes&#8217; highest-paid female athletes list for 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"position:absolute;top:0;left:0;right:0;bottom:0;width:100%;height:100%;z-index:2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/85632104007-usatsi-2194001.jpg\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"vidplayicon\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gannett-cdn.com\/appservices\/universal-web\/universal\/icons\/icon-play-alt-white.svg\" alt=\"play\" style=\"height:40px;margin:auto 18px auto 27px;width:40px\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Barbie honors Venus Williams tennis career with new doll<\/p>\n<p>As a nod to her incredible tennis career, and her fight for equal pay, Barbie honored Venus Williams with her own Inspiring Women doll.<\/p>\n<p>The ladies continue to make that bank.<\/p>\n<p>For the second consecutive year, tennis star Coco Gauff is the world\u2019s highest-paid female athlete, according to an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/justinbirnbaum\/2025\/12\/16\/the-worlds-highest-paid-female-athletes-2025\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/justinbirnbaum\/2025\/12\/16\/the-worlds-highest-paid-female-athletes-2025\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">annual list published by Forbes magazine<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 21-year-old earned $33 million in compensation this year, including $8 million from the court, partly due to her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/columnist\/dan-wolken\/2025\/06\/07\/coco-gauff-french-open-final-sabalenka\/84089389007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">French Open victory<\/a> in June. But Gauff made a whopping $25 million off the tennis court, thanks to endorsements from New Balance, Bose and Baker Tilly.<\/p>\n<p>According to Forbes, the top 20 athletes on the list made a combined\u00a0$293 million, a\u00a013% jump from last year, with a record 14 athletes earning $10 million a year.<\/p>\n<p>Top-ranked tennis player\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/tennis\/open\/2025\/09\/06\/us-open-womens-final-results-highlights-sabalenka-anisimova\/85992797007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Aryna Sabalenka, who won the U.S. Open<\/a> and made the finals of the Australian Open,\u00a0French Open and WTA Finals, is second on the list with $30 million.
