{"id":452595,"date":"2025-12-17T06:07:12","date_gmt":"2025-12-17T06:07:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/452595\/"},"modified":"2025-12-17T06:07:12","modified_gmt":"2025-12-17T06:07:12","slug":"nyc-man-stabbed-by-irate-suspect-in-crime-cops-probing-as-possible-antisemitic-attack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/452595\/","title":{"rendered":"NYC man stabbed by irate suspect in crime cops probing as possible antisemitic attack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Jewish man was stabbed on a Brooklyn street corner Tuesday afternoon in what cops are investigating as a possible antisemitic assault on the third night of Hanukkah.<\/p>\n<p>The 35-year-old victim was attacked by another man in what began as a \u201cseemingly random\u201d verbal altercation between the pair in Crown Heights, police said, adding that they are investigating reports that the suspect made \u201cantisemitic comments\u201d ahead of the knifing. <\/p>\n<p>The victim \u2014 whom the <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/CHSPshmira\/status\/2001096477091803456\/video\/1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Crown Heights Shmira Patrol identified<\/a> as Jewish \u2014 was stabbed once in the chest at the corner of Kingston Avenue and Lincoln Place around 4 p.m., according to the NYPD.<\/p>\n<p>A 35-year-old man was stabbed during a \u201cseemingly random verbal interaction\u201d on the corner of Kingston Avenue and Lincoln Place in Crown Heights. Robert Mecea<\/p>\n<p>The cowardly suspect attempted to break away from the verbal dispute, but the victim followed him down the street. Then, the suspect pulled \u201ca sharp object\u201d out and stabbed the victim in the chest, cops said.<\/p>\n<p>Even after being stabbed, the persistent victim continued to follow the suspect for another block until his attacker eventually slipped away, according to police. <\/p>\n<p>The man, whose name was not shared, was rushed to Kings County Hospital Center in stable condition, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>The NYPD has since \u201cdeployed dozens of additional officers to Crown Heights\u201d and is working to track down the alleged perpetrator.<\/p>\n<p>There is an increased police presence in the vicinity where the attack took place. Robert Mecea<\/p>\n<p>The suspect was last seen wearing a black varsity athletics jacket and a pair of jeans. The back of the jacket read \u201cGenuine\u201d and had the number \u201c91\u201d printed on one arm, according to images released by the NYPD.<\/p>\n<p>Police released images of the suspect.<\/p>\n<p>The shocking assault comes a day after two hateful attackers <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/12\/16\/us-news\/jews-attacked-on-nyc-subway-nypd-investigating-as-hate-crime\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">threatened a group of young Jewish <\/a>students while they were riding the subway after a Hanukkah celebration in Union Square.<\/p>\n<p>One of the students told The Post that one assailant said he would kill them and started shouting \u201cF\u2013k the Jews\u201d while they left the station.
