A storm<\/a> is expected to bring rain to New York and New Jersey on Friday, following snow that battered the tri-state area over the weekend. All that accumulation from the snowstorm is expected to wash away, according to PIX11 meteorologists.<\/p>\n NYC forecast and PIX11\u2019s Weather Center <\/a><\/p>\n Here\u2019s everything you need to know about Friday\u2019s storm:<\/p>\n Timing<\/p>\n Showers are expected after 5 a.m., with temperatures rising to nearly 60 degrees overnight. Wind gusts will pick up to almost 40 mph, according to the National Weather Service.<\/p>\n The storm will head out of the area by Friday evening.<\/p>\n Expected rain totals<\/p>\n The NWS expects rainfall amounts to be between a half to three-quarters of an inch.<\/p>\n PIX11\u2019s Traffic Center <\/a><\/p>\n Future forecast<\/p>\n Temperatures will drop by Saturday, with highs around 41 degrees.
