Expect a second location of Ten Ramen to open in Dallas\u2019 West Village this spring.<\/p>\n
The popular ramen shop, which was founded by chef Teiichi Sakurai, opened its first location<\/a> more than 10 years ago in West Dallas\u2019 Sylvan | Thirty development. The small restaurant holds 10 seats. <\/p>\n One of the key differences at the new West Village location is its size. While it will still be on the smaller side at 1,480 square feet, taking over the former Cru Wine Bar space along McKinney Avenue, the new location is nearly triple the size of original Ten Ramen in terms of seating, with room for 35 between a seven-seater bar and a 28-person dining room. Diners will be able to order Ten Ramen\u2019s signature ramens, such as mazemen, shoyu, tonkotsu and more.<\/p>\n This new location of Ten Ramen marks the first expansion of the brand under new ownership. Hunter Pond of Vandelay Hospitality, who has methodically transformed much of Snider Plaza<\/a> in University Park into a restaurant district, recently acquired Ten Ramen. Japanese soba house Tei-An, also founded by Teiichi Sakurai and located in the Dallas Arts District, is also now part of Vandelay Hospitality. <\/p>\n Restaurant News<\/p>\n
