Nasal spray products are being recalled after the company discovered it could contain yeast-mold and microbial contamination. <\/p>\n
MediNatura is recalling all lots of its ClearLife Nasal Spray and ReBoost Nasal Spray, which is used as a homeopathic remedy to help temporarily relieve issues like nasal congestion, sinus headache, postnasal drip, sneezing and running nose, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced in a Dec. 16 statement. <\/p>\n
The company said there is \u201creasonable probability\u201d that customers who are immunocompromised could have health complications including life-threatening infections if they use the products.<\/p>\n
The company packaged its nasal sprays in 20 millimeter bottles.<\/p>\n
The ReBoost Nasal Spray is further packaged in a white and yellow carton and has the NDC number 62795-4005-9 and the UPC number 787647 10186 3.<\/p>\n
The recalled ClearLife Allergy Nasal Spray is packaged in a white and green carton. The products have the NDC number 62795-4006-9 and the UPC number 787647 10188 7.<\/p>\n
The recall is for all lots of these recalled products that have expiration dates between December 2022 and December 2025, the agency said. <\/p>\n
ReBoost and ClearLife were distributed nationwide via retail and on MediNatura\u2019s website.<\/p>\n
MediNatura said it has not received any reports of adverse events related to this recall. However, all customers are told to immediately stop using the recalled products and contact MediNatura via email at recall@medinatura.com to arrange a refund. <\/p>\n
