Fans of \u201cThe Office\u201d may not see one of its stars on their screens for a while.<\/p>\n
Craig Robinson, who played warehouse worker Darryl on the series from 2005 to 2013, announced on his Instagram last week that is he is leaving comedy.<\/p>\n
\u201cHey, everybody! Just wanted you to hear it from me: I am quitting comedy,\u201d Robinson said in the video. \u201cBut not for nothing. It\u2019s been an amazing run, and y\u2019all have been amazing and wonderful, but I\u2019m following something bigger. So, thank you so much, I love you and stay tuned.\u201d<\/p>\n
His caption reiterated his comments, saying, \u201cLife update: I\u2019m officially quitting comedy to focus on my true calling. Stay tuned. I\u2019m working on something huge.\u201d<\/p>\n
Robinson did not specify what exactly he was pursuing but gave a bit of a hint in a follow up post to his announcement.<\/p>\n
\u201cTurns out having a dream and building a business with your friends are two VERY different things. I can\u2019t go into detail just yet, but for real though any help would be huge,\u201d he wrote in the caption.<\/p>\n
In the video, he added, \u201cBig shout out to all my small business owners.\u201d<\/p>\n
He also asked for advice for trying to get his business \u201cafloat,\u201d saying he has \u201chit a few bumps in the road.\u201d<\/p>\n
Robinson is best known to audiences for his work on \u201cThe Office,\u201d and has appeared in other show like \u201cBrooklyn Nine-Nine,\u201d \u201cThe Cleveland Show,\u201d and \u201cWhat We Do in the Shadows.\u201d<\/p>\n
He\u2019s also appeared in films like \u201cHot Tub Time Machine,\u201d \u201cThis is the End,\u201d and \u201cThe Bad Guys.\u201d<\/p>\n
