HOUSTON<\/strong> \u2013 A man was killed in a shootout at a large gathering in Northwest Harris County.<\/p>\n

Deputies discovered a man shot multiple times in a parking lot on FM 1960 near Kuykendahl Road at about 1 a.m. Sunday.<\/p>\n

The man died at the scene.<\/p>\n

Deputies learned there was a gathering of about 75 to 100 people in the parking lot before the shooting.<\/p>\n

Investigators believe there were at least two shooters since they recovered shell casings from multiple calibers at the scene.<\/p>\n

No suspect or vehicle descriptions were released.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith that many people in the parking lot, several shooters, anyone could\u2019ve gotten hit,\u201d said Sgt. Greg Pinkins with the Harris County Sheriff\u2019s Office Homicide Division.<\/p>\n
