\n\tAlex Warren<\/a> was crowned breakthrough of the year at the inaugural TikTok<\/a> Awards<\/a>, which were presented at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Thursday (Dec. 18). The \u201cOrdinary\u201d hitmaker proved not so ordinary, coming out on top in a stacked category that also included \u00a0KATSEYE<\/a>, Laufey<\/a>, Ravyn Lenae<\/a> and\u00a0sombr<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThis is Warren\u2019s second new artist win. He won best new artist at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 7. He\u2019s also nominated for best new artist at the upcoming Grammy Awards, where he is\u00a0again squaring off again KATSEYE and sombr, as well as Olivia Dean, The Mar\u00edas, Addison Rae, Leon Thomas and Lola Young. The winner will be crowned on Feb. 1.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn other categories at the TikTok Awards, Paris Hilton<\/a> was named Muse of the Year, while LawbyMike won the I Was Today Years Old Award.<\/p>\n

\n\tCiara<\/a> performed a medley which included \u201cEcstasy\u201d from her newest album\u00a0CiCi\u00a0as well as such hits as \u201cGoodies,\u201d \u201c1, 2 Step\u201d and \u201cLike a Boy.\u201d\u00a0The show opened with a performance led by\u00a0Mikey Angelo. Gold-medalist Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa reprised their\u00a0Dancing with the Stars\u00a0pairing during Recap Guy\u2019s performance.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tAhead of the show, there was a live pre-show hosted by correspondents\u00a0Dylan Kevitch,\u00a0Hannah Kosh, and\u00a0Taylor King.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the spirit of Creator of the Year winner Keith Lee,\u00a0TikTok is making a $50,000 donation\u00a0to Feeding America.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe show streamed on @TikTok and on Tubi, the official streaming partner of the TikTok Awards 2025. The ceremony will also be available on demand the next day on Tubi.<\/p>\n
