\n\tSpider-Man<\/a>: Brand New Day has officially wrapped filming.<\/p>\n

\n\tDirector Destin Daniel Cretton<\/a> announced the news on Instagram Friday in a heartfelt tribute post dedicated to \u201cthe people who walked with me through the biggest, most rewarding film I\u2019ve ever been a part of.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tCretton gave a shoutout to Tom Holland<\/a>, applauding him for his \u201ckind, generous leadership on and off screen, for your relentless work ethic, your fearless performances, and for your friendship.\u201d He shared further praise for the rest of the cast and crew, noting, \u201cI love you all so much and can\u2019t wait for the world to see your stunning work on the big screen.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cTo our amazing cast, for breathing so much life into these beloved characters and moving us every day,\u201d he said. \u201cTo our unbelievable crew, who worked tirelessly with unmatched creativity and craftsmanship, who made me laugh so hard my stomach never stopped hurting.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tJoining Holland in the latest Spider-Man installment are\u00a0Mark Ruffalo, who will reprise his longtime MCU role<\/a> as Bruce Banner\/the Hulk; Michael Mando, who played the Scorpion in\u00a0Spider-Man: Homecoming; Jon Bernthal<\/a>, as the Punisher; and Stranger Things star Sadie Sink<\/a>, in an undisclosed role. Zendaya and Jacob Batalon will also return as MJ and Ned.<\/p>\n

\n\tHolland shared brief updates about the upcoming movie throughout filming. In early August, Sony<\/a> revealed his new Spidey suit<\/a>, while the English actor shared a few behind-the-scenes set photos<\/a> on social media.<\/p>\n

\n\tAt the top of the post, the Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director shared his admiration for his wife and children throughout the shooting process. Tagging his partner Nikki Chapman, he thanked her \u201cfor laughing through the insanity and carrying our entire family on your back. To my kids, for forcing me to put my phone down and get out of my head long enough to build a fort in the living room with couch cushions.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCretton serves as director while Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers<\/a>\u00a0returned to write the script.
