However, early reports suggest the Seahawks avoided a worst-case scenario of all three missing time.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported on Friday that only Bryant is expected to miss “some time” due to a knee injury. While it’s a significant blow to the secondary, which Bryant has anchored, Okada was excellent in relief of Julian Love during the first half of the season.

Fowler also reported Woolen’s knee injury, which kept him out of the second half on Thursday, is “not considered serious,” echoing Woolen’s sentiment postgame.

Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said post-game that Bryant’s injury wasn’t “automatically season-ending,” but did not put a timeframe on his return. On Friday, he told reporters that both Woolen and Bryant were getting imaging done that morning, which should provide more clarity moving forward.

The Seahawks should be able to keep rookie standout safety Nick Emmanwori on the field after he cleared concussion protocol toward the end of the Rams game. Macdonald suggested post-game that if the Seahawks’ defense went back on the field in overtime, Emmanwori would have been out there.

Emmanwori has come alive in the second half of the season, totaling 11 tackles against the Rams before leaving. If he needs more time to recover, the Seahawks only have one backup safety, Okada, on the active roster. Seattle’s other two backup safeties, D’Anthony Bell and Quandre Diggs, are both on the practice squad.

Luckily for the Seahawks, they’ll get a couple of extra days of rest following their Thursday night thriller, as they turn their attention to winning out and locking up the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

The Seattle Seahawks were forced to go deep into their secondary’s depth in their stunning win over the…

[39
1232,131913,4840,62,67,132,68
0":"post-459284","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-nfl","8":"tag-nfl","9":"tag-seattle-seahawks-injuries","10":"tag-seattle-seahawks-news","11":"tag-sports","12":"tag-united-states","13":"tag-unitedstates","14":"tag-us
["GET
