Ariana Grande<\/a> says there\u2019s one specific bit of movie merchandise that convinced her \u201cWicked<\/a>\u201d and \u201cWicked: For Good<\/a>\u201d would be \u201cbig.\u201d <\/p>\n

The actor and singer swung by \u201cLate Night with Seth Meyers<\/a>\u201d on Thursday, where she chatted candidly about her plans for Christmas. When Meyers alluded to the amount of \u201cWicked\u201d-themed gifts<\/a> that fans are likely to find under their trees this year, Grande joked about one bit of merch that left her feeling slightly unnerved. <\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, my mom has everything,\u201d Grande said. \u201cShe went a little too hard. And I was like, \u2018Mom, it\u2019s OK, Universal, they\u2019re gonna send it, it\u2019s OK!\u2019 And then she\u2019d be like, \u2018No, no, no, no, I need, like, 30!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

A few of those items, she added, were \u201ca little disturbing. Like the pink and green \u2014 I hope this is OK to say \u2014 the pink and green, was it mac and cheese<\/a> that they did? That was when I knew, \u2018Oh, this is big. It\u2019s a little bigger than I thought.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n

Grande was likely referring to Walmart\u2019s \u201cMystery Color Macaroni & Cheese,\u201d unveiled last year after the release of the first \u201cWicked\u201d film. A Sporked review published<\/a> around the same time noted simply: \u201cIt\u2019s store-brand microwavable macaroni and cheese; I hope we weren\u2019t expecting a great score here.\u201d <\/p>\n

All kidding aside, Grande described the process of filming \u201cWicked\u201d and \u201cWicked: For Good\u201d as \u201cso, so, so, so creatively fulfilling,\u201d and made a point of singling out director Jon M. Chu<\/a>, whom she called \u201cthe perfect leader.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s just so thoughtful, and he\u2019s so meticulous and specific about his vision for what it was going to be, and yet the most free and comfortable and inviting of improv and playful,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n

Grande will reunite with another one of her \u201cWicked\u201d co-stars, actor and comedian Bowen Yang<\/a>, when she hosts<\/a> \u201cSaturday Night Live<\/a>\u201d this weekend, reportedly Yang\u2019s last episode<\/a> of the show.<\/p>\n

At the time of her \u201cLate Night\u201d appearance, Grande had just wrapped shooting on a series of \u201cSNL<\/a>\u201d promo videos<\/a> with Yang and the evening\u2019s musical guest, Cher<\/a>. <\/p>\n

While Grande has previously collaborated with the likes of Mariah Carey<\/a> and Madonna<\/a>, she said meeting Cher for the first time was \u201cthe most exciting thing,\u201d even if she had to remain tight-lipped on whether the two will appear together at any point during the \u201cSNL\u201d broadcast. <\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s just the one and only,\u201d she said. \u201cIt was so spectacular, and she\u2019s just brilliant.
