AP<\/p>\n<p>Vernikov, a feisty conservative, defiantly invited the PM, in order to \u201creaffirm the deep and enduring bond\u201d between the Big Apple and the Jewish state.<\/p>\n<p>Bibi replied, pledging to take her up on her \u201ckind invitation,\u201d but not on Jan 1, he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven though I won\u2019t be able to make it on that day, I assure you that I will visit New York soon. And I\u2019d very much like to see you at that time,\u201d he wrote on his official stationery.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Vernikov told The Post she can\u2019t wait to see Mamdani lose his mind when the PM lands in New York City.<\/p>\n<p>The Ukrainian-born lawyer and Jewish advocate said \u201cthe mayor of New York City has no legal authority to arrest the sitting Prime Minister of the State of Israel. Mamdani either knew that and blatantly lied for clickbait and votes or he\u2019s too incompetent to run a simple Google search.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cMamdani is a scam, and soon the spoiled kids who voted for him will see him for the fraud he is.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mayor-elect Mamdani pledged to arrest Netanyahu if he came to the Big Apple. Paul Martinka<\/p>\n<p>In the wake of a spate of antisemitic hate crimes that rocked the city in recent days, Vernikov is keeping an eye on the incoming mayor\u2019s next moves.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI look forward to seeing Benjamin Netanyahu in New York City and the Jewish community will be delighted to welcome him amidst skyrocketing antisemitism here at home and across the world,\u201d she assured. <\/p>\n<p>Mamdani, a Muslim immigrant, vowed during his campaign to use the NYPD to arrest Netanyahu if he sets foot in the city again, citing the International Criminal Court\u2019s 2024 arrest warrant for the leader\u2019s alleged war crimes in Gaza \u2014 which the US doesn\u2019t recognize.<\/p>\n<p>In late 2024, the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/11\/21\/world-news\/icc-issues-arrest-warrants-for-netanyahu-gallant-over-gaza-war-crimes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ICC issued arrest warrants<\/a> to Netanhayu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, alleging that there were \u201creasonable grounds\u201d to believe the two men \u201cbear responsibility for the war crime of intentionally directing attacks against the civilian population.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last month, Netanyahu said in an interview with Australian newscaster Erin Molan that he\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.com\/v3\/__https:\/\/www.israelnationalnews.com\/news\/417752__;!!F0Stn7g!ATzpBAaYpydv9yv3F6cPXWk9h3PdxLr2tx20IZ87JcMr-1mL_U5Q4sMFatM4udpqYjeu04YHPOiDHfmfcpk$\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cnot afraid\u201d of traveling to New York<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p> Brooklyn Councilwoman Inna Vernikov trolled Zohran Mamdani by inviting Netanyahu.
