Possible storm also for the south-east interior,\u201d a BOM post on X read.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHeating up in the east and south-east, but milder in the west under cloud cover.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, near-record overnight temperatures on Australia\u2019s east coast would probably create just as much discomfort, senior meteorologist Angus Hines said.<\/p>\n<p>Sydney\u2019s nighttime low into Monday would be about 24 degrees, he said, while Newcastle\u2019s would be 25 degrees and Brisbane might get down to 23.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut that\u2019s going to be about 6am when we finally drop to that temperature,\u201d he cautioned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cImagine at 10 or 11 o\u2019clock at night and you\u2019re trying to get to sleep.
