Here are charging station locations in Boulder County"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As Boulder County creeps into its fourth day of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailycamera.com\/2025\/12\/19\/power-out-xcel-wind-boulder-county\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">widespread power outages from raging winds<\/a>, there are multiple options throughout Boulder County for people without power to charge their devices or electric vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>The East Boulder Community Center, 5660 Sioux Drive, has the only open charging station in the city proper, but community charging services ended at 4 p.m. The community center is open until 9 p.m. The center offers Wi-Fi and a play area for children, though it has no charging spaces for EVs.<\/p>\n<p>As of Friday, there were five other charging stations in the county. It is unclear if charging station hours sync up with regular business hours:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The Louisville Public Library, 951 Spruce St., will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. It has a play area for children, Wi-Fi and two EV charging spaces.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The Louisville Recreation and Senior Center, 900 Via Appia Way, is open until 9 p.m. Friday, and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. It also has a play area for children, Wi-Fi and two EV charging spaces.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The Superior Civic Space, 2250 Main St., Suite 1001, is open until 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The building has a play area for children, Wi-Fi and 10 EV charging spaces.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The Superior Community Center, 1500 Coalton Road, is open until 8 p.m. Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. It has a play area for children, Wi-Fi and two EV charging spaces.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The Nederland Community Center, 750 Colo. 72, is open until 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. It has a play area for children and Wi-FI, though it has no EV charging spaces.<\/p>\n<p>Up-to-date information can be found on Boulder\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/boulderodm.gov\/?fbclid=IwY2xjawOyWV1leHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZAwzNTA2ODU1MzE3MjgAAR7pRjQMVfjrc9ad3j872zeb7HTTJ7psSmPNl1QWD-TuosDBxFuSXyp-yZoffw_aem_mktFt17LfAm3dHtMQE4mog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">disaster management website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Boulder spokesperson Sarah Huntley said on Friday that Boulder is not offering shelter for residents without power \u201cat this point.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The extent of the damage in Boulder from this week\u2019s winds is unclear.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt this point, we are still in an active life-safety response status.
