During the stop, an officer involved shooting occurred, Mesquite PD said. <\/p>\n<p>The suspect was struck by gunfire and is deceased, according to police. <\/p>\n<p>The East Service Road of Interstate 635, between Towne Centre and Town East, will be closed during the investigation. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Check back and refresh this page for the latest update.
