(AP) \u2014 Jayden Daniels<\/a> was \u201cfrustrated, disappointed\u201d during his second year in the NFL<\/a>, he said Tuesday, by the various injuries he called \u201cjust freak accidents\u201d that limited him to seven games before the Washington Commanders<\/a> shut him down.<\/p>\n Speaking to reporters for the first time since coach Dan Quinn announced Monday that Daniels<\/a> wouldn\u2019t play again this season, the quarterback who was the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year for 2024 said he wasn\u2019t thrilled with the decision to limit him to practicing the rest of the way but he understood it.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was obviously disappointing.
