Jeremy Fowler of ESPN had the initial report on Swift’s status.

Swift is the Bears’ leading rusher this season, and is just 65 yards shy of hitting the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the season.

The Bears have not had a 1,000-yard rusher since the 2022 season when Justin Fields rushed for 1,143 yards. The Bears haven’t had a running back hit that mark since David Montgomery did so during the 2020 season, which also happens to be the last time the Bears made the playoffs.

The Chicago Bears’ defense will likely get a boost on Saturday night, as linebacker Tremaine Edmunds was activated…

[5124
960,5386,1818,56573
0":"post-460884","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-chicago","8":"tag-chicago","9":"tag-il","10":"tag-illinois","11":"tag-tremaine-edmunds
["GET
