Kiefer Sutherland is looking back on an \u201cextraordinary\u201d moment he shared with Rob Reiner while the late director was filming an iconic scene from \u201cA Few Good Men.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sutherland recalls co-star Jack Nicholson filming a memorable courtroom scene in which the \u201cShining\u201d actor \u2014 as Colonel Nathan Jessup \u2014 barked, \u201cYou can\u2019t handle the truth!\u201d according to a preview of the upcoming TV special \u201cCBS News: Rob Reiner \u2014 Scenes from a Life.\u201d <\/a><\/p>\n \u201cNo one said a word, and Rob went up to Jack Nicholson and whispered in his ear, \u2018Do you want to do another one?\u2019 And Jack Nicholson said, \u2018Well, we\u2019re here,’\u201d Sutherland says. \u201cSo they did another one, and it was just as extraordinary.\u201d<\/p>\n Sutherland says the \u201cPrincess Bride\u201d director planned to shoot throughout the day, but changed his mind following the scene.<\/p>\n Kiefer Sutherland recalls an \u201cextraordinary\u201d moment on the set of \u201cA Few Good Men\u201d with slain director Rob Reiner.
