Police are investigating the discovery of a body found in a desert area of north Phoenix earlier this month, authorities said.<\/p>\n
Officers were called about 1 p.m. Dec. 16 to the area of 64th Street and Mayo Boulevard, where they found a person dead, according to the Phoenix Police Department.<\/p>\n
The body was found<\/a> in a rural desert area just east of the Mayo Clinic Hospital and south of Loop 101, police said<\/p>\n The person has not been identified, and the cause of death has not yet been determined. Police said they are not currently searching for a suspect.<\/p>\n As of Dec. 20, investigators had no updates in the case, police Sgt.
