The Chicago Bears didn’t just beat the Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field on Saturday. They made some history in the process. <\/p>\n
It was a wild comeback for the Bears, who were down 16-6 in the fourth quarter of the game before tying things up and ultimately winning the contest in overtime to go to 11-4 on the season. <\/p>\n
According to Fox Sports, Saturday\u2019s game marked the first time since 1960 that the Bears have won a game against the Packers after trailing by 10 or more points during the fourth quarter of a game.<\/p>\n
Needless to say, that comeback was completely unexpected. After the Bears kicked a field goal with two minutes left to make it a 16-9 game, they recovered an onside kick to give themselves a chance to tie the game in the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n
On a fourth-and-goal play with just 28 seconds remaining, Caleb Williams found Jahdae Walker in the back corner of the end zone to knot things up and to ultimately force overtime.<\/p>\n
Williams then hit DJ Moore in overtime for an improbable touchdown pass, winning the game for the Bears and leaving them within striking distance of a division title.<\/p>\n
The first chance for the Bears to clinch a playoff spot will come on Sunday when the Detroit Lions play the Pittsburgh Steelers.
