AI<\/a> photos have imagined what Jane Fonda<\/a> would look like if she had not had any cosmetic enhancements.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The actress, who turned 88 years old on Sunday, has been open about the plastic surgery and beauty procedures she’s gotten over the years.<\/p>\n

Now, dramatic new computer-generated images have revealed what the star might have looked like had she not gone under the knife.<\/p>\n

Artificial intelligence was instructed to analyze photos of the former model when she was younger and predict what her appearance would be at age 88 had she kept everything natural.<\/p>\n

And the results were shockingly different from what she actually looks like at this age.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Barbarella alum has been very outspoken regarding her stance on cosmetic enhancements over the years.<\/p>\n

Back in 2010, she revealed that she had ‘gotten some work down to her chin and neck.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I also had the bags taken away from under my eyes,’ she wrote in a blog post <\/a>at the time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I swore in 2000 I\u2019d never have anything done again but this year I got tired of not looking like how I feel and I wanted a more refined chin line like I used to have so I changed my mind.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I\u2019m still a little swollen but not much and what pleases me is that I won\u2019t looked pulled or weird\u2026 or tired all the time.’<\/p>\n

She spoke further about her decision to go under the knife on the Today show in 2011.<\/p>\n

‘I was walking down the street one day and I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror, and ugh, it was like: “Who’s that?”‘ she said.<\/p>\n

‘And I thought: “Oh, my God, it’s me!” I feel so great and so rested, and I look so different. I just decided – and I’m not proud of it – I decided I wanted to look more like how I feel.’<\/p>\n

In her 2018 documentary, Fonda admitted that she regretted having plastic surgery<\/a>, stating at the time that she ‘hates the fact that she felt the need to alter herself physically to feel OK.’<\/p>\n

‘I\u2019m glad I look good for my age, but I\u2019ve had plastic surgery,’ she said. ‘I’m not going to lie about that.<\/p>\n

‘On one level, I hate the fact that I\u2019ve had the need to alter myself physically to feel that I\u2019m OK. I wish I wasn\u2019t like that.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Over the years, Fonda has confessed to getting a facelift and getting some work down to her chin and neck, amongst other things. She’s seen in October<\/p>\n

‘I love older faces. I love lived-in faces. I loved Vanessa Redgrave\u2019s face. I wish I was braver. But I am what I am.’<\/p>\n

While speaking to Elle Canada <\/a>in 2020, the star insisted she was done getting plastic surgery.<\/p>\n

‘I can\u2019t pretend that I\u2019m not vain, but there isn\u2019t going to be any more plastic surgery – I\u2019m not going to cut myself up anymore,’ she stated.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I have to work every day to be self-accepting; it doesn\u2019t come easy to me.’<\/p>\n

While chatting with Vogue <\/a>in 2022, she also confessed to previously receiving a facelift, which she said she ‘wasn’t proud of.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I had a facelift but I stopped [getting surgery] because I don’t want to look distorted. I’m not proud of the fact that I had one,’ she shared.<\/p>\n

‘Now, I don’t know if I had it to do over if I would do it. But I did it… you can get addicted. Don’t keep doing it. A lot of women, they’re addicted to it.’<\/p>\n
