HOUSTON<\/strong> \u2013 Authorities in west Houston are trying to figure out what led up to a deadly, fiery crash late Sunday night. <\/p>\n

ALSO OVERNIGHT:<\/b> Armed burglary suspect shot, killed by police in SE Houston<\/a><\/p>\n

It happened a little before 11:45 p.m. when the Houston Police<\/a> and Fire Department <\/a>were called to the Katy Freeway feeder road and Gessner. <\/p>\n

A driver was found dead inside the charred vehicle, which had been badly smashed into a pole. It\u2019s unclear what led up to the incident, and the driver has not been identified, as of this writing. <\/p>\n
