The picture features a woman blindfolded, holding a wooden sword in one hand and a scale in the other.The newest piece is part of Windfield&#8217;s Magnolia Experience. He has painted murals around the city that incorporate the Magnolia flower and take spectators on a journey through the city.&#8221;With this mural, I also wanted to do a mural that complemented the business. You know, this is Sweet and Associates, so I wanted to do my take on Lady Justice through the perspective of a young Black girl, so that&#8217;s how I came up with this,&#8221; Windfield said. The new mural also features blueberries, which are Mississippi&#8217;s official state fruit.Windfield said he paints murals to &#8220;transform spaces to tell a story that can last in an area for decades.&#8221; He said the work &#8220;fully expresses his vision and creativity.&#8221; Windfield is a multimedia artist and Jackson native with degrees from Jackson State University and the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California.
