(WFSB) &#8211; A Philadelphia woman was arrested Thursday on for using a fraudulent credit card to purchase more than $7,000 worth of jewelry from a local business.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Candace Johnson-Jefferson, 36, was taken into custody Dec. 18 with assistance from the Bethel Police Department. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">She was charged with third-degree larceny and illegal use of a payment card.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The fraudulent purchase occurred June 4 at a local business, according to the Waterford Police Department. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The department\u2019s Investigative Service Division conducted an investigation and secured an arrest warrant for Johnson-Jefferson.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Johnson-Jefferson was held on $25,000 bond and later arraigned in court.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2025 WFSB.
