Jacques Boissinot \/The Canadian Press via AP<\/p>\n<p>Privacy Journal looked at four factors: the number of tours available, median price per hour of the tour, average number of languages offered and average hotel rate per night in December.<\/p>\n<p>While no U.S. cities made the overall top 10, the top destination in America was, of course, New York City.<\/p>\n<p>The home of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, Fifth Avenue <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/11\/28\/lifestyle\/nyc-holiday-windows-2025-saks-macys-bergdorf-bloomingdales\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">holiday window displays<\/a>, the Rockettes, holiday markets and more ranked highest in the country and 14th globally. <\/p>\n<p>Out of the 33 destinations ranked, New York came in first for Christmas tours available \u2014 tied with London. The Big Apple ranked 16th for median price per hour, 26th for available languages, and 33rd for average price per night in December, giving the greatest city in the world a total score of 49.8.<\/p>\n<p>Two other American cities made the list, with Branson, Missouri, coming in at 16th place and Savannah, Georgia, in 17th. <\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.5;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"38001441\" width=\"885\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/www-explorebranson-com-article-old-117613033.jpg\" alt=\"Christmas parade in Branson, Missouri, with floats on a street lined with spectators and a large illuminated Christmas tree.\" class=\"wp-image-38001441\"  \/>Other American cities made the list as well, with Branson, Missouri, coming in at 16th place. ExploreBranson.com<\/p>\n<p>Nine of the top 10 destinations were European cities, with the exception of another North American city, Quebec City, Canada, in the No. 8 spot.<\/p>\n<p>London was the best overall city for Christmas tours, according to the findings, tying in the top spot for Christmas tours available.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLondon transforms into a Christmas spectacular each December, offering many Christmas tours that cater to every festive fantasy,\u201d the analysis said. \u201cFrom traditional walking tours through Victorian era markets at Greenwich and Southbank to exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences at historic palaces adorned with seasonal decorations, the British capital delivers Christmas magic at every turn.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The findings noted that London didn\u2019t have the most languages offered with a ranking score of 26 \u2014 just like New York \u2014 but it makes up for it with lower prices and \u201cthe sheer breadth of free festive attractions \u2014 including the Trafalgar Square Christmas tree and Covent Garden\u2019s decorations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In second place was Amsterdam, Netherlands, followed by Nuremberg, Germany, in third place. Rounding out the top five were Zagreb, Croatia, and Strasbourg, France, in fourth and fifth place, respectively.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\u2018Tis the season.
