The request for proposal is open through Feb. 2 for 11 food and beverage locations, and three specialty retail stores.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What they\u2019re saying<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we build new gates, reimagine existing spaces and construct a new Terminal F, DFW Airport is committed to showcasing our region through our shops and restaurants so that when people travel through our terminals, there\u2019s no denying they have arrived in the heart of Dallas and Fort Worth,\u201d said Ken Buchanan, DFW\u2019s chief revenue officer. \u201cDFW serves tens of millions of travelers each year, and this is a chance for local businesses to help create an incredible sense of place within our terminals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>The details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dfwairport.com\/dfwnewsroom\/dfw-airport-seeks-the-best-of-texas-in-bids-for-14-new-shops-and-restaurants\/?utm_source=subscribe.817biz.com&amp;utm_medium=newsletter&amp;utm_campaign=aviation-capital-grabs-sky-harbour-hbo-dorman-back-again-with-health-startup-d-fw-airport-seeks-14-concessionaires&amp;_bhlid=53fb47c8a09536567ef1464a9a56b8e155a8a154\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">concepts<\/a> for food range from fast-food, fast-casual, grab-and-go concepts to frozen treats, popcorn, cosmetic and specialty retail, according to a news release. The locations will be in terminals A, B, E and F.<\/p>\n<p>In May, DFW Airport unveiled a list of 20 new concessions, a mix of national chains and local businesses, according to previous <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/dallas-fort-worth\/grapevine-colleyville-southlake\/transportation\/2025\/05\/08\/20-new-concession-vendors-chosen-for-dallas-fort-worth-international-airport\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">reporting<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What else?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>DFW Airport had 87 million customers in 2024 and is expected to surpass 100 million passengers before 2030.
