That\u2019s why the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marriott.com\/en-us\/hotels\/phlwh-w-philadelphia\/overview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">W Philadelphia<\/a>\u2019s terrace remains a popular spot for popping the question, with everyone from Eagles wide receiver <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phillymag.com\/philadelphia-wedding\/2025\/01\/16\/eagles-devonta-smith-proposal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DeVonta Smith<\/a> to pro golfer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phillymag.com\/philadelphia-wedding\/2023\/03\/30\/w-philadelphia-proposal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Matthew Wolff<\/a> getting down on one knee there. They attended elementary school, middle school, and high school together; but didn\u2019t start dating until December 2019, when they took a trip to New York City.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4147744 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/kiss-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"kiss\" width=\"900\" height=\"1100\"  \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>The proposal:<\/strong> David and Olivia both love Christmas \u2014 so what better way to kick off the holiday season than with a November proposal? The engagement, which took place at the W Philadelphia, was a family affair. David\u2019s mother decorated the terrace \u2014 which boasts stunning views of the city skyline \u2014 with candles, lanterns, rose petals, and four white rose, hydrangea, and lily floral arrangements, which she made herself. Olivia\u2019s mother and Olivia\u2019s best friend also helped out. And they all made sure David and Olivia\u2019s one-year-old son was there for the big moment. After the \u201cyes\u201d?
