Open 8 a.m. to midnight, the best time to go is for a late dinner, preferably an hour or so before closing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">It\u2019s busy at night \u2014 don\u2019t try to do what someone tried to do and attempt to get a table for nine people at 11 p.m. Try to make a <a href=\"https:\/\/resy.com\/cities\/new-york-ny\/venues\/balthazar-nyc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reservation<\/a> if you can, be prepared to wait for a table, or order <a href=\"https:\/\/order.online\/store\/45822?pickup=true&amp;redirected=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">takeout<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">McNally and the team are known for their top-notch hospitality: For example, McNally is known for playing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C3fMUAsuylO\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Taylor Swift<\/a> at night. When I made my reservations, I added a note about how my husband and I were fans of the singer.
