Either way, my Thunder vs. Spurs predictions have locked in on some NBA picks<\/a> that explain why Wemby will have another big impact in this matchup on Tuesday, December 23.<\/p>\n Thunder vs Spurs prediction<\/p>\n Thunder vs Spurs best bet<\/strong>: Victor Wembanyama Over 8.5 Rebounds (-115)<\/p>\n If the Oklahoma City Thunder<\/a> and the San Antonio Spurs<\/a> were paired in a playoff matchup this season, I think 100 out of 100 NBA fans would sign up for that.<\/p>\n Simply put, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander<\/a> vs. Victor Wembanyama<\/a> is must-see TV.<\/p>\n Their NBA Cup semifinals matchup was a back-and-forth battle, but Wemby and the Spurs gutted out a 111-109 win as 10-point underdogs. He\u2019s one of the few guys who can battle Chet Holmgren<\/a> while still being able to disrupt the perimeter.<\/p>\n Wemby is also perfect at taking advantage of one of the Thunder\u2019s few weaknesses, which includes cleaning the glass. OKC is an average rebounding team, ranking 19th in rebounding rate and 15th in opponent rebounds per game.<\/p>\n San Antonio has taken it easy with their superstar since returning from injury, giving him just 20.3 minutes in his first four games back. Despite the limited minutes, he\u2019s still averaging 19.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n He\u2019s grabbed 12 rebounds in two straight and has gone Over 8.5 rebounds in three of four.<\/p>\n Thunder vs Spurs same-game parlay<\/p>\n The Thunder allow the third-most points per game to opposing guards.
