{"id":46740,"date":"2025-07-07T19:27:16","date_gmt":"2025-07-07T19:27:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/46740\/"},"modified":"2025-07-07T19:27:16","modified_gmt":"2025-07-07T19:27:16","slug":"nick-kyrgios-suggests-the-one-possible-weakness-carlos-alcaraz-may-have-which-is-not-in-jannik-sinners-game","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/46740\/","title":{"rendered":"Nick Kyrgios suggests the one possible weakness Carlos Alcaraz may have which is not in Jannik Sinner&#8217;s game"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Carlos Alcaraz\u2019s pursuit of a three-peat at Wimbledon is still very much alive, after he advanced to the quarter-finals at the All England Club. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/true-champion-andrey-rublev-praised-for-what-he-did-immediately-after-losing-to-carlos-alcaraz-at-wimbledon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alcaraz defeated Andrey Rublev<\/a> in four sets, 6-7, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 to make the last eight in SW19 for the third consecutive year.<\/p>\n<p>The Spaniard extended his winning streak to 22 matches and became the youngest player in the Open Era to reach 12 men\u2019s singles quarter-finals at Grand Slam events. <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, his rival <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/jannik-sinner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jannik Sinner<\/a> also continues to impress at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/Wimbledon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wimbledon<\/a>, with the world number one tearing through his half of the draw. <\/p>\n<p>Sinner and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/carlos-alcaraz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alcaraz<\/a> remain the favourites at the tournament, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/nick-kyrgios\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nick Kyrgios<\/a> thinks the Italian has something in his game that will give him the edge, should the two meet in the final. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/GettyImages-2223840190-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Carlos Alcaraz after winning his fourth-round match with Andrey Rublev at Wimbledon.\" class=\"wp-image-108878\" \/>Photo by Clive Brunskill\/Getty ImagesNick Kyrgios compares Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner<\/p>\n<p>On the Talksport breakfast show, Kyrgios said: \u201cThe scary thing is, Alcaraz, Djokovic, Sinner, they don\u2019t really have weaknesses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a scouting report of maybe what to do to increase your chances to win but there\u2019s no real weakness, there\u2019s no real hole.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s what\u2019s incredible about these two young guys, these guys are literally kids, and they already have a game that\u2019s got no real weakness.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"inline-links multi\">\n<li>Sets dropped at Wimbledon in the first three rounds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cYou could arguably say that Alcaraz\u2019s weakness is that he has too many options and he might lose a bit of focus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut with Sinner, he doesn\u2019t really have any holes at all.
