{"id":467994,"date":"2025-12-24T02:58:11","date_gmt":"2025-12-24T02:58:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/467994\/"},"modified":"2025-12-24T02:58:11","modified_gmt":"2025-12-24T02:58:11","slug":"chicago-area-man-calls-911-says-he-killed-his-wife-police","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/467994\/","title":{"rendered":"Chicago area man calls 911, says he killed his wife: police"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p data-v-6c8e215c=\"\"><strong>BATAVIA, Ill.<\/strong> &#8211; A man in west suburban <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox32chicago.com\/tag\/us\/il\/kane-county\/batavia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Batavia<\/a> was arrested Tuesday after he called 911 and said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox32chicago.com\/tag\/crime-publicsafety?page=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he had killed his wife<\/a>, whom police found fatally wounded in an apartment.<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"WFLD\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-6c8e215c=\"\">What we know:<\/p>\n<p data-v-6c8e215c=\"\">Hector Luvianos-Barrera, 37, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the woman\u2019s death, according to the Batavia Police Department.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6c8e215c=\"\">Around 4:37 a.m., police responded to the 100 block of Church Street in Batavia after the man told dispatchers he had killed his wife.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6c8e215c=\"\">Responding officers found the man outside of an apartment, where he was taken into custody without incident.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6c8e215c=\"\">Inside the apartment, a female victim was found with &#8220;significant, life-threatening injuries,&#8221; although police did not specify the nature of those injuries.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6c8e215c=\"\">The victim died at the scene.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6c8e215c=\"\">Investigators determined the death was a result of a domestic-related incident involving the two subjects and there was no ongoing threat to the public.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6c8e215c=\"\">An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause and manner of the victim\u2019s death.
