The brewery announced that its last day at its current location will be Dec. 30 after accepting an offer for the property.<\/p>\n

FORT WORTH, Texas \u2014 A brewery in Fort Worth’s West 7th area will close by the end of the year, but plans for a new chapter are in the works.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bankhead Brewpub at 611 W. University Drive announced in a post on social media\u00a0<\/a>that its last day at its current location will be Dec. 30 after accepting an offer for the property.<\/p>\n

“Earlier this year, we received an exceptional offer for our Fort Worth property, one that made perfect sense for our long-term plans. We accepted it, and something even bigger is coming into that space soon,” Bankhead’s post read. “But this isn\u2019t a goodbye story \u2014 it\u2019s a growth story. We\u2019re already exploring new locations and are excited for what\u2019s ahead in 2026 and beyond. To our incredible guests and employees: thank you for the love, the memories, and the loyalty. If you\u2019ve shared a beer or a meal with us, you\u2019ll always be part of the Bankhead family.”<\/p>\n

As our content partners at the\u00a0Fort Worth Star-Telegram report<\/a>, the original Bankhead opened in Rowlett, followed by the Fort Worth location.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bankhead also has a location at 13090 Bee St. in Farmers Branch in addition to the original location at 3840 Main Street in Rowlett.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While known for its beer and live music, Bankhead’s food menu includes BLTA dip, which consists of bacon, spinach, sundried tomatoes, artichoke and three cheeses, Texas Twinkies, a wagyu burger, fish and chips, meatloaf, pizzas and more.\u00a0<\/p>\n
