JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 The story this year is all about warmth and sunshine. We\u2019re looking at almost 80 degrees in Jacksonville over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day\u2014yes, you read that right!<\/p>\n

Skies will be mostly clear day and night, and the weather outside is about as nice as it gets for December.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re planning to get out and enjoy the day, whether you\u2019re walking the dog or just taking in the sights, it\u2019s a perfect time to soak up the mild conditions.<\/p>\n

Rain deficit and drought concerns<\/b><\/p>\n

Now, let\u2019s talk about rain\u2014because we need it. Right now, we\u2019re running a deficit in Jacksonville by just about 10 inches, which is pretty significant.<\/p>\n

Drought conditions continue, and you\u2019ll definitely see that impact across the area, especially up into parts of Georgia where there\u2019s a severe drought ongoing.<\/p>\n
