An arrest has been made in a homicide that occurred earlier this month outside a Fort Worth<\/a> motel.<\/p>\n

Jacqueline Rodriguez, 23, was booked into the Tarrant County jail Tuesday in connection with the death of 37-year-old Stephanie Gonzalez. Rodriguez faces a murder charge, and her bail has not yet been set, jail records show. <\/p>\n

Officers were dispatched early Dec. 12 to a motel in the 1800 block of Jacksboro Highway, where they found Gonzalez had been shot in the abdomen. <\/p>\n

Gonzalez was taken to a hospital, where she later died. <\/p>\n

According to a news release from police officials, the shooting occurred after Gonzalez and another person, who was not identified, arrived at the motel to recover a stolen vehicle. <\/p>\n

Two people who were inside the vehicle then ran from the scene, police said. <\/p>\n
