That record was set in 2021, but Christmas holidays have been relatively seasonable in the years since.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">According to the National Weather Service\u2019s Fort Worth office, the metro area has a 50% chance of breaking or tying the record. It\u2019s also expected to get  even hotter on Friday and Saturday, meaning multiple high temperature records  could be broken this week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Sunday is expected to start warm as well, but a cold front is expected to move in during the afternoon and evening.
