Over 90 exhibitors from around the globe will showcase paintings, sculpture, photography, and video at the LA Art Show from Wed., Jan. 7, to Sun., Jan. 11.<\/p>\n

In this 31st edition of the largest and longest-running independent art fair in Los Angeles, producer and director Kassandra Voyagis showcases the growing international scope of the fair, including over 10 exhibitors from South Korea; new participants Oliver Sears Gallery, from Dublin, Ireland; and Corridor Contemporary, from Tel Aviv, Israel, as well as the debut of an invitation-only Latin American Pavilion, curated by Marisa Caichiolo, who has been selected to co-curate Chile\u2019s pavilion at the 2026 Venice Biennale. The Latin American Pavilion\u2019s message of inclusion is especially poignant given the struggles facing immigrants from Latin America today.<\/p>\n

Other highlights include a solo show of Sylvester Stallone\u2019s rarely exhibited abstract paintings, from Palm Beach, Florida\u2019s Provident Fine Arts, and the LA Art Show\u2019s popular non-commercial platform DIVERSEartLA, also curated by Caichiolo, which explores how biennials and museums are platforms for innovation, dialogue, and engagement. Another exhibit that is garnering buzz is from London\u2019s Pontone Gallery, which presents the self-taught artist and former professional rock drummer Chris Rivers\u2019 surreal oil paintings, which reference astronomy and mythology.<\/p>\n
