{"id":471975,"date":"2025-12-26T03:12:18","date_gmt":"2025-12-26T03:12:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/471975\/"},"modified":"2025-12-26T03:12:18","modified_gmt":"2025-12-26T03:12:18","slug":"driver-arrested-in-connection-with-crash-that-injured-pregnant-woman-18-year-old-passenger","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/471975\/","title":{"rendered":"Driver arrested in connection with crash that injured pregnant woman, 18-year-old passenger"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\"><strong>SAN ANTONIO<\/strong> \u2013 San Antonio police said a driver was arrested in connection with a crash that injured two women, including one that\u2019s six months pregnant. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The crash happened just after 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Pecan Valley Drive and the Interstate 37 access road. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">According to an SAPD preliminary report, the driver of a Toyota Camry heading eastbound on Pecan Valley Drive attempted to turn onto the northbound access road of I-37. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">However, police said the driver did not yield to traffic and crashed into a Jeep Compass heading westbound on Pecan Valley Drive.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">After the collision, SAPD said the Toyota Camry driver fled from the scene. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The driver of the Jeep Compass, a 41-year-old woman, was later taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the report said.
