The Packers clinched a playoff spot on Christmas Day thanks to Detroit’s loss at Minnesota.<\/p>\n
The Lions turned the ball over six times and fell to the Vikings, 23-10, at U.S. Bank Stadium, eliminating Detroit (8-8) from playoff contention and giving a postseason spot to Green Bay.<\/p>\n
It’s the Packers’ sixth playoff appearance in Head Coach Matt LaFleur’s seven seasons.<\/p>\n
The Packers (9-5-1) are guaranteed a wild-card berth at minimum and are still alive for the NFC North title.<\/p>\n
To win the division, Green Bay would have to win its last two games against Baltimore on Saturday night and Minnesota next week, while Chicago (11-4) would have to lose its last two against San Francisco and Detroit.<\/p>\n
If Green Bay is able to win the NFC North, it would earn either the No. 2 or 3 seed in the conference.<\/p>\n
