One teenager was dead, and four people were injured after a shooting broke out in Lancaster on Christmas Day, law enforcement sources told NBC Los Angeles Thursday.<\/p>\n

It happened in a residential neighborhood on Angela Court near Challenger Way and Avenue K at around 1:09 p.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.<\/p>\n

The sheriff’s department later confirmed the deceased victim was a 16-year-old male. Video from the scene showed first responders conducting CPR on the young victim.<\/p>\n

The four injured people, a 17-year-old girl, 15-year-old boy as well as two male adults aged 19 and 29, were taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, the department said.<\/p>\n

While deputies tried to find surveillance video in the area, they did not have any information on the suspect. <\/p>\n

It was not immediately clear what led to the shooting.<\/p>\n
