Cyclops shoots lasers in X-Men focused Avengers: Doomsday teaser<\/p>\n

Recent reports suggest that Avengers: Doomsday will not immediately feature Doctor Doom, despite Robert Downey Jr. being confirmed as the film\u2019s chief antagonist. Instead, Marvel Studios may be saving Victor Von Doom\u2019s full reveal for a later trailer or keeping him under wraps, similar to Galactus in The Fantastic Four: First Steps.<\/p>\n

What will not stay hidden, however, are the X-Men, as per reports. Entertainment journalist Jeff Sneider teased the direction of upcoming trailers during a recent episode of The Hot Mic with John Rocha<\/a>. While discussing Marvel\u2019s rollout strategy, Sneider said, \u201cSo the second trailer, I think, is Thor, like you said. The third trailer is the X-Men. That\u2019s where the James Morrison stuff came from and Cyclops.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Sneider further clarified that the teaser features Fox-era X-Men, rather than a new MCU version. \u201cObviously, do you know who\u2019s playing the MCU X-Men? It\u2019s the old X-Men because it\u2019s all the different people coming together, right? So it\u2019s Captain America, it\u2019s Thor, and X Men.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adding to the speculation, known scooper MyTimeToShineHello<\/a> posted on X (formerly Twitter), \u201cThird Avengers Doomsday teaser: Xavier, Mutants, Cyclops shooting lasers.\u201d The post strongly suggests that Cyclops\u2019 optic blasts will be a visual highlight of the teaser.<\/p>\n

The first official teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday has already been released, featuring Chris Evans<\/a>\u2018 return as Steve Rogers.
